EDWARDS ENDRES | FOUNDER
Edward D. Endres and Norman Melhiser formed Melhiser, Endres & Tucker in 1967. The firm incorporated in 1985, and Endres was named President, where he served until 1997.
Ed served on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana in Louisville, KY for more than 15 years. Endres enlisted the support of other community chapters to open the New Albany chapter in 1987.
In 1990, he earned a Bell Award from WLKY-32’s Spirit of Louisville Foundation, Inc. He was former president of Develop New Albany’s board of directors, where he helped lead the effort to restore the old Red Cross Building at Main and Bank Streets, and the Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce. He was former president of the Kiwanis Club of Historic New Albany; a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana and Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Edward D. Endres passed away in September 1997 at age 54.
