Rodefer Moss Named 7th Largest

Rodefer Moss & Co, PLLC, headquartered in Knoxville, is one of East Tennessee’s largest accounting firms and the seventh largest in the state, according to Business Tennessee Magazine.

The publication, which covers business across Tennessee, ranked accounting firms by number of employees.

“Considering we started out in 1990 with just 12 employees, this is a distinction of which we are extremely proud,” said Jimmy Rodefer, the firm’s chief executive officer.

“We didn’t set a goal of being the largest; our objective was to be the best. Our belief is that one is following the other.”

Rodefer Moss has nearly 150 employees in its offices in Knoxville, Nashville, Greenville and the Tri-Cities. The firm’s services include audit, tax, consulting, information technology, disaster recovery, employee leasing, and small business entrepreneurial services.

Rodefer Moss is an independent, privately-owned member of the BDO Seidman Alliance, an association of firms across the country that pool their expertise, knowledge and specialties to provide a broader range of services to clients.
